At Plastic Products, Inc., we are a recognized industry leader in the machining of Vespel. A durable polyimide-based plastic, Vespel is a highly resilient material used in demanding applications. Our approach to Vespel machining is backed by a flexible manufacturing environment further enhanced though Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing principles. Through our dedication to quality and precision we have become the largest producer of Vespel parts for the aerospace sector.

Our Vespel machining capabilities consist of several common and specialized machining processes taking place within an ISO 9001:2008 environment backed up by AS 9100C certified quality system. Milling, drilling, turning, boring, threading, tapping, knurling, broaching, counterboring, countersinking, and facing are just some of the procedures we can perform. Our machining processes support part dimensions up to 20" long by 15" wide by 16" high and our turning capacity can support parts up to 8" long and 1/16" to 12" in diameter. Through our combination of CNC and manual machining we are able to hold ± 0.0005" tolerances.

We can take orders in quantities from single to medium volumes, with two to four week lead times on average, and can accommodate rush services. We also take orders for virtually any type of prototype, including form study, functional, and visual prototypes. For more information see the table below and feel free to contact us directly.
